Anthos Simon

General Manager Creative Services

Having studied at AFTRS and with a strong understanding of photography, Anthos’ aptitude for film was soon realised as he quickly rose through the ranks of digital post production to become the NSW General Manager.

Leading the charge in the digital age, constant progression is always on Anthos’ mind. After only four years at DFILM services, then Australia’s premier visual effects facility, Anthos led the company through the introduction and expansion of digital services in 1999 to the creation of EFILM Australia.

A twenty-four year veteran within Deluxe, with experience and knowledge in a multitude of fields, Anthos has become an expert on digital post production planning and techniques and oversees the technical production and sales of every project.

Angus Robertson

Sound Manager

With 26 years of experience across all aspects of sound post production including mixing, editorial, recording, facility management and deliverables. It has been Angus's fortune and pleasure to have contributed to the Australian film industry with involvement on over eighty feature films, three hundred plus hours of television drama, numerous documentaries, television specials, magazine programs and TVC's. Angus has lectured in Sound Post Production techniques at the Australian Film, Television & radio School. He has been grateful in receiving numerous awards and nominations including MPSE, ASSG and IF awards. Angus is acutely aware of what Directors, Producers, Sound Crews and Post Supervisors require at this critical stage of the film making process, and the quality of creative, technical and client service are paramount in his desire to ensure that your experience here at Deluxe StageOne Sound is to the highest standards possible.

Sam Hayward

Re-Recording Mixer / Stage Engineer

Sam’s abilities as a Stage Engineer are second to none and he is respected by both Australian & U.S. Re-Recording Mixers as the foundation of our stages. His knowledge, patience and good humour has served every production that we have had the pleasure of working on. Sam is also one of the industry’s most exciting up and coming Re-Recording Mixers / Sound Designers. Over the last couple of years he has mixed features including; “A Heartbeat Away”, "Oranges & Sunshine”, “The Waiting City”, and “The Combination”. His work on the short film, “Emulsion” earned an AFI Award nomination and he won the ASSG Award for his Sound Design and Mix on the multi Award winning Documentary “Cuttlefish, The Brainy Bunch”. Sam has also won an ASSG Award for Paul Goldman’s “Suburban Mayhem” and was nominated for ‘Sound Design on ‘”The Choir”. His dedication to excellence and passion for his craft are two of his greatest attributes. Sam loves film and the film making process.
